My favourite was YMCK’s Family Cooking. Its chiptune, its jazzy, its awesome.

The best chiptune album I heard in 2009, by a wide margin, was Anamanaguchi’s “Dawn Metropolis” EP. I’m surprised that neither of you fine fellows mentioned it.
