Black Friday 2016: Audio Software Deals From iZotope, Spitfire, and More (Updated)

It’s that time of the year again! With Black Friday and Cyber Monday only a few days away, many music software companies have already begun offering their holiday deals and discounts. Like last year, we’ve compiled a list of places having sales on their music and audio tools. More sales are bound to crop up as we get closer to the weekend, so we’ll be updating this list as much as we can. With all of that said, here are some of the sales going on right now or coming up this weekend.

iZotope:

iZotope ^[2] has a sale going on from Nov. 22 until Nov. 30th on their mixing, mastering, and music creation software, with more deals planned for Cyber Monday. Special deals include 40% off of their Mix and Master Bundle and 80% off on the Trash 2 + DDLY Dynamic bundle. The site also has a 25% storewide discount active on most products until the end of the year.

Waves Audio:

Waves Audio ^[3] will be launching their sale on Thursday Nov 24th with up to 80% off on their products including bundles and upgrades. Creating an account with them before Black Friday will also earn you a free copy of the Supertap tape delay plugin.

Sonniss:

Sonniss ^[4] is giving discounts up to 50% off on many of their sound effect libraries. The sale will be continuing through till the end of the year, as part of their Christmas sale. Selections include ambient sounds, natural environments, and sci-fi effects. Specific discounts can be looked up here ^[5].

A Sound Effect:

A Sound Effect ^[6] has up to 70% off on their wide collection of sound effect libraries. There’s a variety of sound effect packs available to help round out your current collection. This is part of their Gigantic Birthday SFX Sale, so there’s no word on whether this sale is planned to last through the holiday week.

8Dio:

Best known for their orchestral sample libraries, 8Dio ^[7] is having a sale up to 70% off on their products until December 1st. The higher discounts are focussed on the string libraries like the Adagio and Agitato series. You can receive a 40% discount by using code: “save40” on other products.

Dehumanizer:

Dehumanizer ^[8] is a product that allows you to use your own vocals to produce monster sounds for your projects. It’s a fun sound effect creation tool, if you haven’t heard of it before. Use discount code “BlackFriday” to receive 30% off of any of their products.

Heavyocity:

Heavyocity ^[9] is having a 50% off sale on their virtual instrument libraries starting now until December 5th. This includes Kontakt libraries like Damage and Ableton instruments like the DM-307 Collection. Some great stuff here if you’re looking for dramatic or cinematic sounds for your virtual instrument collection.

Spitfire Audio:

The sample library company Spitfire Audio ^[10] will be having a sale on their products from Nov. 24th until the 29th. Individual products will be 25% off and their collection bundles will be as much as 50% off. Customers who already own a product that’s part of a collection can receive an additional discount.

Impact Soundworks:

Impact Soundworks ^[11] is having a Black Friday sale on select products until Nov. 28th. Featured items include the Super Audio Cart ^[12] and Celestia ^[13] sample libraries. Their Synth Presets for music tools like Massive are also on sale for 50% off.

Native Instruments:

Native Instruments ^[14] is having a 50% off sale on over 100 products including Kontakt 5, their various Symphony Series collections, and many other sample instrument libraries. The sale will be going on until Dec. 5th.

EastWest Sounds:

EastWest Sounds ^[15] has a one day sale on its Composer Cloud subscriptions. You can get 20% off on any of the subscription plans. This deal is only available for Black Friday.

Sonokinetic:

Sonokinetic ^[16]is offering 40% off on their orchestral series Woodwind Ensembles: Extended Edition. The deal will be going on now until Cyber Monday.

Cinesamples:

Cinesamples ^[17] is having a Black Friday sale from Nov. 25 to Nov. 29th. All of the Cinesamples instrument libraries are up to 40% off until the end of the sale. This discount applies to bundles as well as individual products.

Soniccouture:

From Nov. 25th until Nov. 28th, Soniccouture ^[18] is offering up to 60% off on their Kontakt instrument libraries. A great selection of libraries are available, particularly if you’re looking for something different and experimental.
