CALLING ALL DAWNS: Christopher Tin’s debut album starts pre-sales

Christopher Tin might not be an incredibly recognizable name yet, but his song “Baba Yetu” for Civilization IV became a huge fan favorite when it was released in 2005. Now Tin is ready to impress us yet again with his debut album, and like “Baba Yetu,” it will also have a unique twist.

CALLING ALL DAWNS will feature 12 songs, with all 12 being sung in different languages. As impressive as that sounds, the talent seems to be equally promising with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra being at Tin’s side, and performers such as Grammy-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, Grammy-nominated opera singer Frederica von Stade and Iranian singer Sussan Deyhim all contributing to make this a true worldwide production.

Pre-sales are now ongoing, and CDs ordered during the presale period will be numbered and signed. You will also receive a download link to the album on it’s release day so you can be the first to listen. The album officially releases on October 1st, so I recommend you pre-order it at Christopher Tin’s website

Are you excited to hear Tin’s ambitious project? What do you think of the idea of every song having a different language? Let us know!
