In between eating KFC and removing vital pages out of history books, Southerners also specialize in beating videogames in new and interesting ways. Case and point: Nick Hagman, a Kentucky native who decided he would run through the original Castlevania on the NES using a Mario DDR dance pad. Now, that game is hard enough by just tapping fingers, but I can’t imagine Travolta’ing my way through the mansion personally. It seems like he is making good progress, however, and is already at level 5 in his practice run.
Nick Hagman isn’t a stranger to the VGM community, as he has released many remixes under the name Nario. His most recent work was Most of Me at MAGFest 8. Catch the rest of his run on his YouTube account.Tags: Castlevania, DDR, Kinuyo Yamashita, Konami, Nario, NES
