GDC 2011: Intergalactic Redux is Invading GDC?
Posted By Jayson Napolitano On March 3, 2011 @ 6:22 am In Game Music | 3 Comments
So, Josh and I are here in San Francisco for GDC 2011, and I was surprised by the first thing I saw at the door. Don’t those angular, rainbow-colored designs look vaguely familiar? They should, as we just reviewed [2] and held our Intergalactic Redux contest [3] in the past month and week, respectively!
Do you think it’s just a coincidence, or do The OneUps have fans in high places?

Probably just a coincidence. I’m sure the design/layout for these events is decided months and months in advance. Intriguing, though.

The truth is much lamer. Both are simply taken from [5], and there are [6] out there too.
I’m sure these designers are making a ton of money off unsuspecting clients just by following these 16 easy steps. It kind of pisses me off.

We are proud to have Fabio Sasso’s inspired work
on our album, and he is properly credited on our website.
He’s a very popular and talented artist.
