iam8bit who has previously released some classic video game soundtrack on vinyl including Journey, Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie, and Perfect Dark is now taking pre-orders for 4 incredible releases.

The Special Collector’s Edition 2xLP Vinyl featuring the Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns soundtrack on 180-gram colored viny offers a new way to experience the evocative, orchestral score composed by Maclaine Diemer and Lena Chappelle for Heart of Thorns. With audio mastered specifically for vinyl by Telegraph Mastering Studio, you can now revisit your quest to defeat the vicious Elder Dragon Mordremoth as the orchestra takes you through the perilous Maguuma jungle with the special release of this enchanting soundtrack. The vinyl features vivid artwork from the Guild Wars 2 art team with a design by game industry favorite, Cory Schmitz.

Back in 2012 the indie game Dustforce swept us away with its gorgeous visuals, gameplay, and music by LIFEFORMED totalling 16 tracks. Featuring album art by Drew Wise. The iam8bit release is 150-gram Vinyl,Limited Edition of 1,000, and includes download code for the full Dustforce game and digital soundtrack (Steam – PC/Mac/Linux).

iam8bit, PlayStation, and Naughty Dog are excited to announce that Greg Edmonson’s beautifully composed scores for the first three Uncharted games are coming to vinyl as part of an Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 3xLP box set!We teamed up with the always incredible We Buy Your Kids to design a visually striking vinyl package that incorporates some of our favorite moments and artifacts from the the first three Uncharted games. These soundtracks have been specifically mastered for vinyl by Telegraph Mastering Studio, and we can’t wait for you to hear them like this!

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection features the first physical release of portions of Greg Edmonson’s now classic score to Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.  The gorgeous set is available for pre-order for $55 USD.

Indie developer Subset Games first released FTL: Faster Than Light to the world in 2012. Since then, this incredible space ship simulator has won countless awards, and has been downloaded millions of times. To accompany the game, Ben Prunty composed a masterful sci-fi soundtrack that we’re thrilled to release on vinyl for the very first time! Give it a listen here [6]. To do this vinyl recording its ultimate justice, we had the audio mastered at Telegraph Mastering Studio. We can’t wait for you to hear it like this! We teamed up with Leif Podhajsky to design a vinyl package that blows our minds with its awesomeness! Leif’s pedigree includes album covers for many top labels, including famed rock group, Tame Impala.

Man these gorgeous albums and colored vinyl really make me wanna buy a turntable! But naaaah, I can’t bring myself to go down that dark hole right now.
