Nintendo to Release Wii Fit Music on CD, Skips Everything Good

[1]

It’s no secret that Nintendo is going the way of the casual gamer. Further evidence comes in the form of the latest CD gift for Club Nintendo members in Japan [2]. Dubbed, Touch! Generations Sound Track, the CD features 25 selections from the various Touch! Generation titles released by Nintendo on the DS and Wii. This lineup includes games like, Nintendogs, Wii Fit, and Brain Age among others.

With so many excellent soundtracks in recent times, including Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and Metroid Prime 3 (all of which did NOT receive official soundtrack releases), this borderlines on madness.

Hit the jump for a detailed tracklist of what you can expect from this welcome(?) addition to the Club Nintendo library.

01. Title (Wii Play)

02. Fishing (Wii Play)

03. Title (Wii Sports)

04. Tennis Result (Wii Sports)

05. Mii Plaza (Mii Channel)

06. Main Theme (Wii Shopping Channel)

07. Title (Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day!)

08. Title (Yawaraka Atama Juku)

09. Welcome to “Bistro Pierre” (Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide What to Eat?)

10. Peter Piper Syndrome (Eigo ga Nigate na Otona no DS Training: Eigo Zuke)

11. The Scent of Color… ~Bimoji Training Title~ (DS Bimoji Training)

12. Nintendogs Theme (nintendogs)

13. Walking the Dog (nintendogs)

14. Plaza (Wii Fit)

15. Hoop Dance (Wii Fit)

16. Step Dance (Wii Fit)

17. Staff Roll (Wii Fit)

18. Title (Wii de Yawaraka Atama Juku)

19. Kitchen Bossa (Kenkou Ouen Recipe 1000: DS Kondate Zenshuu)

20. Submission Plaza (Mii Contest Channel)

21. Title (Animal Crossing: Wild World)

22. K.K. Bossa (Animal Crossing Series)

23. Pigeon’s Nest (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

24. Nintendogs Theme – Live ver. (nintendogs)

25. Title – Live ver. (Wii Sports)

On the positive side of things, some of these tracks are pretty catchy (even I find myself humming the Mii Channel theme sometimes). Though I can’t say I’ve played the cooking and kanji training games, so I have no clue how those would sound. Maybe if they did a metal arrange album from a cooking game, then I think I’d be moderately interested for the sheer “WTF” factor.

Nintendo fans should eat this one up I’m sure, but wouldn’t you guys rather see the stuff that Club Nintendo was doing before? Like the Peach Healing Music [3] or Koopa Loud Music [4] albums? I know I would!

I figured this would have happened much earlier actually, and I estimated it would consist of the various Channel Themes and other Mii Menu musics. Turns out the prediction wasn’t too far off the mark.

In all honesty, I want to hear it. It would have been cool to interview Minegishi about his approach to Wii Fit. It’s just a slap in the face to hardcore fans, and the people who actually buy game music.

This news is weird, I agree. However, I’m glad that Nintendo is prepared to release something. I’m hoping they’ll actually give composer details too. I know Toshiyuki Sudo and Kazumi Totaka did a lot of these tunes, but there were a lot of details never announced.

Can anyone put the Touch! Generations soundtrack on mediafire please? I really want to hear the original hula hoop dance from Wii fit than the remixed version from smash bros for Wii u & 3ds

There are many different types of darknet markets, some are specialized for particular types of products, such as counterfeit currency, or stolen credit card information in Sweden. The most famous example of a darknet marketplace directory is [7].
