Original SoundCAST: Episode #001

[1]

We’ve finally done it! After weeks of failed recording attempts, we’re very pleased to bring you the first episode of OSV’s official podcast, Original SoundCAST. Our beneficent and handsome EIC, Jayson Napolitano is joined by Audun Sorlie, Gideon Dabi and myself for a recap of last week’s news and events. Included in this week’s agenda are the leaked Sonic 4 soundtrack, Final Fantasy XIII OST -PLUS-, Blip Fest Tokyo and a recap of my trip to Boston for PAX East. Now, enough reading — Click the link below to download!

Thanks to AdamGetsAwesome [2] for providing this week’s intro & outro music.

We are ambitious for going triple-digit from the start. <3

Hi guys,

*Love* your site, pleased to see there’s finally a podcast โ€” just wanted to drop you a note to mention that the title “SoundCast” already “belongs” to Tracksounds.com, which has had a podcast by that title since September of 2008. I’m a composer, but I write for Tracksounds and speak on the podcast occasionally conducting interviews and the like, so I felt compelled to mention this…might get confusing with two media music podcasts going by the same title, even if yours has a different slant.

No offense or negativity meant at all, by the way, just a friendly note โ€” get in touch if you think it’s an issue worth discussing, I love getting email. ๐Ÿ™‚
