Get Your Orchestral Rock on with Chris Baines’ New VGM Album

Musician and composer Chris Baines, who might be known to some as the bassist for VGM bands Rare Candy and Entertainment System, has released a new solo album featuring music from Chrono Trigger, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow and Heavy Barrel!

TofuMakoToro is a six-track album that features orchestral rock and metal arrangements from several popular games. Baines released the album to Bandcamp, while also supplementing some track with music videos.

So I’ve arranged this song three times over the years. Once for Entertainment System, once for Rare Candy, and now for my solo album. The funny thing is this is the first time I’ve actually gotten around to finally performing it.
